Standing Feet: Support and Safety
A checklist for confirming whether a specific model supports upright positioning and what assistance it requires.
Confirm support for the exact model
“Standing feet” does not necessarily mean unsupported standing. Ask for the maker's instructions, supported surface, required stand or wall support, allowed duration, and warranty limitations.
Practical limitations
- Use a stable, level surface and keep the item supported during positioning.
- Do not leave an upright item where a fall could injure a person, pet, or damage property.
- Never infer a universal time limit; follow the exact maker's guidance.
Inspect before and after positioning
Check the feet, ankles, joints, and surface for wear or instability. Stop if you observe tearing, exposed hardware, looseness, or unusual resistance.
